As the new year unfolds, many of us take pen to paper, scribbling down goals, resolutions, and to-do lists. Did you?
Yet today, we’re not just talking about goals, wishes, or task lists. We’re talking about ambitions & dreams —the kind that make your heart race, the kind that light a fire inside you.
We all have that one dream, the one that sparks butterflies in our stomachs. But too often, we let fear, doubt, or distractions pull us away from it. We hesitate, waiting for the "right moment," when in reality, the right moment is whenever you decide to take action.
1. Get crystal clear on your vision
What does success actually look like for you? Where are you? What are you doing? Who are you impacting? Visualize it in detail. The clearer the picture, the easier it becomes to reverse-engineer the steps to get there.
Take your time with this. This is your life. Dream as wildly as you want.
2. Shift from fear to faith
Doubt is normal, but it doesn’t have to dictate your choices. Instead of asking, “What if I fail?” ask, “What if I succeed?”
Reframe obstacles as stepping stones, not roadblocks. Because setbacks? They are just little puzzles that have a solution, they are the stepping stones to reach your goals.
3. Take the first Step, no matter how small
Big dreams might feel overwhelming, but steady, small actions create momentum over time.
Progress compounds over time. ELSA THE BRAND ? It was just a document on Google Docs for the first five months. It started as words—the what, why, and how—before it became something real.
4. Surround yourself with energy that elevates you
You become the sum of the people you spend time with. If you’re surrounded by doubt, you’ll shrink. But if you’re surrounded by ambition, you’ll rise.
Seek out mentors, peers, and communities that uplift and challenge you. As Jay Shetty puts it, “If you surround yourself with five confident people, you’ll be the sixth.”
The clock is already ticking. But the good news? You have time. Time to dream bigger. Time to take action. Time to prove to yourself that you can do this.
Now GO GET IT but always in style
